Purpose & Goals

The Southeastern Residency Conference provides an opportunity for pharmacy residents to make formal, professional presentations of their research. The conference provides a unique and welcoming environment for participants to exchange information and ideas with fellow residents and preceptors throughout the southeast. Residents learn how to make a professional presentation to colleagues, while enjoying fellowship, meeting new friends, and discussing important issues confronting institutional practice.

The professional relationships developed during this conference provide a lifetime of support and collegiality. Preceptors and pharmacists from all sectors of practice return every year to meet and introduce new residents to pharmacy leaders. Whether presenting, evaluating, moderating, or taking part in social events, each attendee contributes to the conference proceedings. And each leaves the conference armed with ideas and practices that emphasize current and evolving developments in pharmacy practice.
